First visit to this pie shop at the age of 9 now 56) after moving from the Broad way market pie shop My mum /me /my boy/ now 33) and now my granddaughter 4 generations don't think this tradition will last for a fifth sad

Looked after very well as soon as we walked in. Enjoyed my pie and mash haven't had any for such a long time.

The place has a cute old school vibe and the lady serving us was very friendly. Sadly though the food was terrible this is exactly why pie and mash shops are increasingly hard to find: the food they serve is dire! Lumpy mash, flavourless sauce that tastes like it’s out a packet, pies with dried out pastry and revolting filling. This place could be an institution but instead it’s an embarrassment

What's there not to like? Good food at a great price.

Lovely pie, mash and liquor, washed down with a mug of tea. Fast service. Absolutely 100%. I look forward to coming back again soon soon.
