Feedback gevenSo this is a very hard review to write. Reading some of the others, we experienced some of what people have said but some of our experience was contradictory. Our Waitress had very Middling service. She was forgetful in taking our order but she was very attentive to our drink and bread needs. The side salad was fine but might soup as pictured did not look or taste like Pasta Fagioli, very runny and messy. We both got different Marsalas. My chicken and my gf got veal. Both tasted very good and savory. She got mashed potatoes with hers which was good. I got pasta which I wanted to mix with the marsala but it was served with red sauce so I was unable to. $54 for the two of us. Tax and tip included. I might try them again but definetly a little high for the service and some aspects of the meal.
This place is terrible! The spaghetti sauce tasted as if it was an off brand spaghetti sauce definitely not made in house. The ziti was not good at all. I don't think this place uses fresh ingredients and just orders their food in bulk.
Well, it's the end of 2022 and I feel it is necessary to give the spaghetti kettle a deserved bump. After reading so many prior negative reviews, I wanted to say that my brother and I enjoyed a very nice meal, in an intimate setting last week. I had the critically acclaimed broccoli and hats. They were smothered in butter and garlic, much to my liking! My brother had the traditional spaghetti with meatballs. Both of us enjoyed our meals, together with salads and house garlic bread. I have no complaints about any of it, and was pleasantly surprised by the bright-faced Server who tended to us very professionally. She had a lot of personality , and a good sense of humor. Here! here! spaghetti kettle, keep up the good work and best of 2023 to you. I recommend this small restaurant, attached to a thriving pizza and wing joint.
So I've driven by this place quite often but never actually stopped until a couple weeks ago. I had rather high hopes when going in as I just figured with a name like spaghetti kettle they probably make their own pasta. Now although I never actually ask them if they did or not, it wasn't advertised on the menu anywhere and I'm thinking if you make your own pasta you would be bragging about it and it would say homemade pasta somewhere in the menu. It did say homemade sauce so there's that... I mean at least assuming it's accurate one can be comfortable with the idea they didn't just open a jar in the kitchen. So my party was seated rather quickly and it was a really really cold day outside. I mean it was about 2° or something like that. I only bring this up because the room we were seated and had a fire going however even though it was within sight we were seated next to an outside wall and it was drafty enough that a couple of us left our coats on. We went ahead and ordered, the food came out rather quickly and possibly because I was hoping for the homemade pasta thing and didn't get it this may come off a little more negative than it perhaps really was but nothing really stood out as awesome or fantastic. I had the prime rib which was very tasty however the texture seemed a little bit different than other places I've had prime rib. I'm not saying this as a bad thing, just a different thing. The only other thing I wanted to note was the calamari that we ordered for an appetizer was huge. Other places I've gone they are a little bite-sized pieces breaded a deep fried, these resembled a basket of onion rings. Visually had I not known I would have just thought it was a basket of onion rings. They did however taste pretty good. As opposed to their smaller counterparts at other restaurants these were large enough that you really did get the calamari flavor. The dipping sauce however that came with them was a cocktail sauce with horseradish which I thought was kind of odd but that might just be something they do there or maybe she grabbed the wrong one out of the refrigerator. So anyway I would go back and possibly will as after reading some other reviews on here there are a couple of other dishes that I would like to try.
The owner has no care in the world for food allergies. After causing.me to go into a reaction had no way of helping and reacted as if it was a joke. This man should not be running a business.
