Grand Prix Motor Inn - Town of Malta

I have been coming to this hotel for years its decently priced rooms always clean and spotless. The owner G dosnt allow people that are shady in the hotel hes a good guy any problem u have he takes care of right away towel blankets etc

The owner can be quite intrusive and may occasionally enter your room unannounced.

It's a bit rundown, but it's an affordable option for a one-night stay.

I stayed here because I was stuck in a snow storm driving up to Vermont and was desperate for a place to crash for the night. It did the job, but that's about it. Definitely the worst motel I've ever been to. I was first given the wrong room key and awkwardly opened up the door to someone's room. When I finally got my own room, it was only fairly clean and the TV did not work. There's no toiletries- no even soap for the sink. The tap water is also undrinkable. The worst part is that I was stranded here for hours in the snow because the plow truck was broken. Instead of getting another plow company to come, I had to wait several hours for the truck to be fixed for them to FINALLY plow so I could leave. In conclusion, ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU'RE DESPERATE.

This place is much better than some reviews suggest. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that guests are comfortable and have everything they need.
