Shelby Firehouse Tavern

This place has gone steadily downhill during the past year....We 've been coming here for years and years, for our private dining experience plus for retirement parties, celebrations and funerals. Always had the best food, service, etc....I understand the ownership has changed and it looks like they want to make it a neighborhood bar with pizza....The amenities, special bread with dipping sauce, the salad bar, even the linen napkins...GONE. We 've been here many times lately (once was our go-to place on Wednesday evenings) and they are always OUT of something...No baked potatoes, we 're out of potatoes, No Perch dinner... We 're OUT of perch, , etc. etc.... They no longer have a seperate room for get-togethers, most of the table have been removed. It 's a sad looking place now....Tonight was our last night to visit there....We 're through with the Firehouse Tavern.

Me and my brother stopped in yesterday and ordered BBQ Ribs and they were excellent and our waitress was friendly and gave us great service i would recommend this place to anyone

Terrible service! Bartenders are bitchy!! Food is over cooked! Changes hands to many times. No constantly. And you better remember what you drank or ate, cuz your bill, cuz it will be doubled the next morning!! Thieves and garbage food!!

Server Amber seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. It took multiple attempts to get a receipt and silverware for my to go order. Food was not good, the breading on the perch was thick and tasted like cardboard. Fish and Chips was undercooked and greasy… not a good experience (Lunch at 11 am).

Service was horrible the servers were talking s while looking right at me and my family
