Tippy's Mexican Food District 4

Had the bean and cheese veggie burrito and wouldn’t recommend perhaps I shouldn’t have been shocked, but this literally tasted like mushy baked beans. Also the nachos were very overpriced for what they were. My friend had the stake tacos though and really enjoyed them.

Been dining here since I first moved back from CA in 2016 and this place hits the spot every time. The flour tortillas are definitely fresh, much like everything else here. Now my party has gone from 2 to 4, (sometimes 7 if my parents are in town visiting) but the quality has been consistent, the menu has gotten more diverse, price has gone up, but I’m not complaining cause it’s still well worth it. Parking maybe tricky.

Amazing burritos and perfect service. The food is reasonably priced and the owner speaks Vietnamese and English! Definite recommendation!

Pretty tasty and satisfied the Mexican craving. Is it authentic? Maybe 80%. Definitely lacking the cumin and lime/chili flavours but over all very tasty and hits the spot. Veggies were fresh and staff were very nice. They have deals every day of the week and have combos for groups.

Really enjoyed the food here. The chips and salsa are very authentic. The fish tacos were cooked just like Mexico. The other tacos were very good as well. The large burrito is “large” by Vietnamese standards but is more like a medium if you’re from North America. The burrito was made from flour and was very chewy. It wasn’t as satisfying as the tacos
