Stepping into the cozy ambiance of the cafe, I was greeted warmly by the staff, setting a positive tone for my visit. The menu offered a variety of options, but I was particularly drawn to the dishes featuring their renowned sausage gravy and potatoes. When my plate arrived, the aroma of the well-spiced sausage gravy tempted my taste buds, and the sight of the golden, crispy potatoes completed the inviting presentation. Each bite offered a comforting mix of flavors that exceeded my expectations, truly deserving of their local acclaim. Alongside the signature sausage gravy and potatoes, I decided to try one of their scrambles. The combination of fresh ingredients folded into fluffy eggs was both hearty and satisfying. The scramble was generously portioned and featured perfectly sautéed vegetables and well-seasoned meats, demonstrating the cafe's commitment to using quality ingredients. My meal felt like a perfect balance between indulgence and nourishment, making it clear why Town and Country Cafe has become a favorite among locals. What further elevated my dining experience was the cafe's attentive service. The staff frequently checked in to ensure that everything was to my liking, without being intrusive. Their friendly demeanor and prompt attention to detail contributed to an overall warm and inviting atmosphere. It was evident that they genuinely cared about their customers' experiences, which is something that stood out in addition to their delicious food. My visit to Town and Country Cafe was a reminder of how exceptional service and thoughtfully prepared dishes can transform a simple meal into a memorable dining outing. Parking: Given that it was a morning, kind of hard to find traffic :
Was in town Saturday morning and wanted to try a local breakfast spot downtown. This place was super crowded so I knew the food was good but when we asked for a wait time the waitress said they don’t give wait times. So then how much time should we expect? 6 parties ahead of us to eat but can’t give a rough estimate wait time. So unfortunately being outside in the summer time and no specific time to wait we went to another establishment. My recommendation for this restaurant is to be more prepared staff wise and or have an automated texting service to let your guest know when their table is ready.
T&C stands out in Tracy for its commitment to using fresh fruits and vegetables in every dish. The friendly waitstaff ensured a pleasant experience, even during a one-hour wait, by regularly checking on us to see if we needed anything. This is my new fav place in Tracy!
Put my name in at 9:30, told there could be a 30 month minute wait. 45 minutes later I checked on the wait and found out that they had skipped over my name. Got seated within 5 minutes or so, waitress came at a little over 7 minutes and took the order. I ordered Mina’s at her recommendation . Food didn’t come for at least 15 minutes, it had no flavor at all. I had to order sour cream and put pico and hot sauce on it to make it taste like anything. I’m not picky but I didn’t enjoy this at all. Total of an hour and a half on a Friday morning and left very disappointed. Our waitress was very nice and a good waitress.
Attentive, friendly, and great food. The best part; its affordable. It was not too expensive overall. Parking is on the smaller size, however.
