Whistle Stop At The American Cafe

Great, dog-friendly place (top floor terrace). My fur child and I shared the grill chicken with Cheddar potatoes and green beans and it was extremely good. Live music last night was also beautiful. We'll be back a lot!

I can't believe Vickie enough that we always feel so special while we at the Whistle Stop. Tonight we drove with our 2 years old The Polar Express. Vickie was there to welcome everyone. She led us to the roof for hot cocoa and cookies through the fire with Santa. Then we'll take the train down and get the city before we eat again. Our food was delicious (as always) and our sweet boy Gatlin loved watching the train inside while playing with his special Christmas tea that came with his meal. The Whistle Stop was always one of our favorites, but tonight it was a place we hope to return even for every Christmas. What a special and unforgettable holiday night we had! Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality!

The burgers are top notch! I can personally recommend the Black and Blu. The house made chips are good and crispy. Our Hickory BBQ wings were awesome! Good clean atmosphere and restaurant!

Awesome food, service and owner, clean, food served quickly hot and fresh, had ribeye steak, no fat not grisly. Swordfish was fresh and moist. Cornbread cakes sweet as cake. Eaten here many many times always satisfied. Staff is awesome music is good on the rooftop.
