I have to say, I was so excited to try this place! I love the idea of a cozy restaurant nested on a top of a hill that serves traditional Ehden food , and I love the idea of Lebanese food in general. But then we got there, and it was not what I expected. We went there for late lunch on a Sunday , and I would rather die than go back there again. The service was so bad that it's hard to believe they even exist—not just as an establishment, but as living people. We waited for ages for our food, but when it came out… it was all wrong! There was no serving cutlery and we asked many times for them. Plus our glasses were broken, so we couldn't drink from them; the waiter got one arak glass from another table where someone could have sneezed on them. The highlights of hygiene were when we ordered kebbe: three with lard and one with meat. When we asked which one is which the waiter came and tried to shake them with his hand to see which one is which. The food is not tasty and the rest we didn’t even try to taste it since we were very worried to taste it. It was such a bad experience that I do not want any other people to go there or even think about going there again!
It was an amazing experience! Very good customer service, food is hot and comes in fast and amazing view while eating. I recommend it if you want to eat at Ehden, it's a must!
Very difficult to get to the actual restaurant as you have to drive a steep hill through dirt. We ordered a mixed grill dish which which took forever to be ready and the grilled meat(she2af) was pure fat, we told the owner and his response was this is because it’s lamb meat as if we never ate this before. Makanik and wings were also poorly seasoned and did not taste good at all. very poor customer service. Would not go there again.
The manager and team were very welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was cozy and the weather was astonishing. All in all this place is worth a visit especially during august September when running out of the city heat. Ignore the negative reviews.
Great view a good authentic Lebanese food. Accessibility is a bit of a challenge as you need to drive up a steep dirt road. Still it was worth it in the end.
