I don't think there's a visit nr.3
Amazing experience , great food , great staff , great aesthetic of the restaurant
I am probably a harder critic than most, but if guabalari turns out to be a chic restaurant, I will judge them as one. the art in the dining room was very cool, although loud and table set / service was everything impeccable. the server was courteous and the courses came out in a good tempo. I was full at the end of my 5 cursors. the foods were in my opinion not at the same excellent level. unconsistencies were uneven and components were often not supplemented. the fish was cooked nicely, but the lamb was hard and uneven salted. the broccolini was half raw. my fish main came with a butter glaze and a cold cream crab side that was both confusing and very unmatched. the venison tartar had moments of the genius with the picking chanterelle, but also came with a milky foam that hit with the whole plate. while some of these things could be the norm for the Norwegian cuisine, others are likely to care of the cook. I think there is a great potential if they have spent a little more time for the development and cooking of the food. overall the price was fair for eating and excellent service. would have rated 3.5, but since I personally did not go back for another meal, I would go with 3 stars.
Good atmosphere and friendly staff. the waiter was very knowledgeable about the history of the place and the meaning behind gubalari, which I recommend to them to ask when they go there. Eating was delicious and exciting. we must try many things that we have not tried so far and they used local but exotic ingredients. I would describe her style as a modern Nordic cuisine. we need to try both whale and horse meat, but their menu changes quite often, so their experience can differ.
This place is elegant and exclusive and yet affordable. I love interior design, masterpiece art on different walls. eating here is beyond the experience. I ate not only, but had an experience with well prepared meals, taste, taste, smell and eat art display. I look forward to visiting guabalari in the future. they offer a great customer service.
