La Forgia - TROPEA

Nice place near the sea I understand that it is a tourist place I took a salad and a grilled chicken breast and a bottle of water paid 20€ all good but in my opinion exaggerated because the chicken was just 120 grams I will not return even if they were friendly ps waiter very kind and professional.

Found by chance on a Sunday in June while walking through Tropea. The very kind waiter made us sit down, and we ate very well, some starters and two first courses, dessert and they offered us coffee. greetings from Puglia.

We ate divinely, everything fresh and delicious. We were well recommended by the waiter. Excellent selection of Tutti Calabresi wines (not easy) I recommend the Pesca Nera with the type of cuisine they do

Were there for dinner: we had to wait for a very long time between antipasti and primo 1h! most likely because some frinds of the owner that attived after us wanted the same dish house wine terrible and the food was poor we got pasta with [homeopathic] amounts nduja but with lots of peperoncino to come up for the spiciness unfriendly and since one of us is italian mother tongue we could understand what they were saying two of their comments were... we were asking the chef about the dishes and in his answer is let go that 'anyway ' we are Germans which is by the way not the case as if we do not get what the difference is : and then they said that 'we do not understand if they speak dialect '... it is an unfriendly milking place for tourist with mediocre food

As the title says and its not much about the price but more about portion sizes! The food is good, the service is good, the portions are not. There is much better further in the town for the same prices.
