Very nice atmosphere,really friendly staff. Their rum is great! I recommend. Great location next to the beach.

We stumbled across this restaurant last Friday night for dinner. We started with cocktails made with their own rum which were great!! The food was very tasty especially the entrecôte. Starters were delightful! Fromage outstanding. And all washed down with exceptional French wine. Great service from Paul!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Expensive for not hugely sized portions.food quality is good but prices are more parisian than normand. Boboland

The menu of this tiny restaurant consists of home-made burgers and tapas dishes. We had a few of the tapas dishes, which were all unique and excellent. This is not tapas in the traditional Spanish sense, in that the dishes are somewhat larger, so you'd probably choose 2-3 between 2 people at most, whereas in Spain, I can get through several more. Each of the dishes we had were imaginative, prepared fresh (we could see the cook working away in the small kitchen), and delicious. We would certainly go again for the food. But, that's not all...They also supply a variety of flavoured rums. We sampled the ginger spiced rum, which was just delicious. So, good drinks too.Periodically, they hold jazz nights, which much to our regret, we missed, but we intend to go back and hopefully catch one of these.In addition to the restaurant, there is accommodation, which is very individualistic. We have our own apartment nearby, so didn't stay, but the proud owner wanted to show us his handiwork. The rooms look comfortable and very quirky, decorated along a nautical theme.The owner was extremely friendly, and although he speaks little English, an we have only basic French, we were able to communicate quite well. His wife, if present, is a very good English speaker (and artist).Overall, this place is an experience I would recommend to any visitor to Trouville.

Great Brasserie food, freshly prepared with a lot of skill and taste. Try the fantastic classic burger or the house salads where you add the components to your liking. Romain also serves a large selections of rum that he blends with many different herbs and spices. And for your stay in Trouville chose one of the 2 apartments that he is renting upstairs - you will become a fan immediately.
