Feedback gevenThe room was straight gross. Hair all over the bathroom and some on the bed, and rust all over. Walls were paper thin, and could literally hear the people in the room next to us peeing. Do not recommend at all. Restaurant staff was great, probably the only good part, front desk was completely useless, watched them decline a couple a room they reserved and didn't do a thing to help them. Very outdated as well, tv would randomly turn off(happened twice in 30 min)and safe straight up didn't work at all.
It's an old hotel, but my room was modern and comfortable. The staff was attentive and efficient (quick check in and check out). Breakfast buffet is very good and worth the extra cost. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay there again.
The room itself was fine, though the bathroom could have been cleaner (found some hairs from the previous occupants). The lobby and common areas were cold. Was the HVAC not working properly? Also, the hotel was a little run down. Small tears in the carpet throughout, paint chipped, door hinges rusted and then painted over. All in all, the hotel definitely needs a reno. Staff was friendly. I'd stay here again but would also look for other options in the area first. It was perfectly fine for one night, but for a Marriott I expect a little more.
The beds were horrible. Hallways were so cold. It’s expensive for the poor service. I asked for the safe to be checked twice they kept saying will send someone and no one came. Be aware that the room doesn’t come with free breakfast. It was manipulated cause for $182, you should get a free breakfast. nThe beds are so high. The tv is so slow for sure due to the connectivity. It’s a smart tv but slow one. nFor the price you can have a better room. nGo to a motel you’ll get same service but better price. nDon’t recommend at all.
We had a room block at the Trumbull Marriott for our wedding and I cannot say enough great things about our experience. The rooms are clean, the overall atmosphere is top notch and the staff is so incredibly helpful. Linda Klein helped coordinate everything from start to finish and she could not have been anymore responsive, knowledgeable or helpful throughout the entire process. Victor was also great in working with us to hone in on a menu for late night snacks for our guests and everything was delicious. All of the front desk staff and bartenders were friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
