Growlers Beer Bistro - Tuckahoe

Large outdoor area, pet-friendly (only outdoors,) great dining and drinks, always parking and it is free after 6 or 7 clock!

The atmosphere is decent. the personal is really attentive. beautiful selection on tap. the menu seems a bit limited burger and tacos are also great.

We will never return to this facility, we went in and it was so loud that we could hardly hear, it was not packed, apparently only.

The staff is really attentive and the business has a decent atmosphere. They have about 16 things on tap at any one time. But aside from the service and beer they don 't do anything great. They don 't have a terrible amount of vegan options andunfortunately one of those options, the onion rings, is so unpalatable that I couldn 't finish them. They are just drenched ingreasiness and left me sick to my stomach. The salad has way to much vinaigrette on it and the veggie burger patti tastes likenothing and yet is overly seasoned at the same time. The other dish, guac and chips comes with too little guac to chip ratio.While the chips are good they are kinda dry without anything else on them. The crowd here leans on the older side 40s 50s andunfortunately you have to pay for parking and the whole bar shakes when a train goes by In the end I 'd recommend going to analternative bar. Another friend of mine had this to say: It 's just meh. The food- meh... Drinks are nothing fancy and ofteninconsistent in taste...Beer focused bars are never really clean, I 've noticed. There 's always a residue of fermentation in theair that never goes away. My summary: way to expensive for mediocre

A good selection of ever changing beers. Very friendly and helpful barmen on hand to help make you beer decisions.
