Golden House Chinese Fast Food - Tucson

Celiac safe, gluten-free! almost everything on the menu, few take

We were looking for restaurants near a certain part of Tucson and found Golden House. I was a little skeptical of what to expect because it is located in a strip mall and doesn’t have that much curb appeal. They also mention Chinese “fast food” in their description. DON’T LET ANY OF THAT FOOL YOU … this place is phenomenal! Every dish had excellent flavor, and was so delicious … the chicken egg rolls, lettuce wraps, fried rice, shrimp lo mein made with rice noodles, orange chicken, cashew chicken, egg drop soup. All of it was fantastic, and not one person in our party had anything negative to say about anything we ordered. Nothing was too salty or too oily, and while it was our first time visiting Golden House, they clearly have a huge fan base because the constant stream of customers stopping by for takeout never stopped while we were there, and the dining room had a steady flow of diners as well.The only complaint I have is that they are only located in Tucson, and I live in Nashville, TN. This would absolutely be my go-to best Chinese food restaurant if I lived nearby.

Best Chinese food in Tucson! Reasonably priced and always great service! Never had a bad experience here, even when the wait for takeout is longer... So worth it!

Food was amazing. No heavy oils or syrups. Vegetables were crisp, everything was fresh. Recommend them highly!!

Cold chicken nuggets with sauce on the side. No flavor on the lo mein. Shrimp was WAY overcooked with weird coleslaw underneath. Everything is cold, old, dead, with no/bad flavor(s). Do not go here. Waste of money. I bet they try and tell me that they are a healthy Chinese restaurant...lies. Eat this and get sick. Panda is a better option. In fact, this place should never even be considered. GROSS!
