I took my friend to this restaurant for a birthday treat in the afternoon. We didn't need to make a reservation and we didn't feel rushed at all. On the lower level, there were five different types of finger sandwiches and baby quiche. The sandwiches were a nice mix, but the quiche didn't have much flavor. Next, we had scones with Bonne Maman jam. Following that, there were six mini cakes including carrot cake, eclairs, and a Victoria sponge. We split them in half so we could try everything. My friend had tea and I had an Americano coffee. It was a very relaxing afternoon and we enjoyed sampling everything. The £20 price was worth it, especially when I found out that my second coffee was included. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The tea was hot and not too strong, just how I like it. The carrot cake we ordered was delicious. My husband uses a mobility scooter and we had no issues at the restaurant, despite it being busy. The place was very clean and the service was excellent.
We had a friend's baby shower ..the staff were extremely accommodating. From when I booked the table, ordered the cake to service we received. Our waitrose Iaona couldn't have been more helpful. She was attentive, courteous and pleasant..thank you @patisserieValerietunbridgewells .
The breakfast at Patisserie Valerie was amazing and affordable! The service was excellent as well. Honestly, I couldn't find any faults with Patisserie Valerie.
