The Gun Spitroast - TUNBRIDGE WELLS

We waited at the bar for 5 minutes upon arrival because there was no one present to assist us. Despite a staff member eating at the bar who could have easily helped us, we were left waiting. We only wanted to order a cup of tea for two and a soft drink for our daughter, but we were told they didn't have tea. I was surprised by this, given that it is a pub with a restaurant. Instead of offering an alternative, we were told to go to the village store. Overall, the service and attitude were appalling.

My friend and I stopped by for a quick drink and the hostess made us feel incredibly welcome. This pub is the top choice in the area and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend checking it out. Thank you and see you soon!

I stumbled upon this lovely old pub during my walk from Tanners Farm campsite and decided to stop in for a quick drink. They offer delicious meals at a reasonable price.

Food excellent and very reasonably priced, staff friendly and efficient, roaring fire, what more can you want. They coped admirably with 16 of us. Will go again.
