The street vendor grabbed a piece of fresh white fish from a 5 gallon bucket, dipped it in batter, deep fried it, and slapped into a white corn tortilla. I then dressed it with the 'white sauce ', cabbage, cilantro, and tons of lime, with a touch of hot sauce. This was the best fish taco I ever had.......15 years later...I had the closest thing to that original fish taco at Los Cotijas in Tustin. The tacos are much bigger and more authentic than Rubios. You can get full on two instead of four. My only complaint is that they garnish the tacos with lemon instead of lime. I prefer lime with my mexican food.If you are looking for a good fish taco, go to Los Cotijas.
Epic. Fast, friendly, well priced and the crispy batter on the fish taco was supreme!!
Came here and enjoyed a great meal. Carne asada burrito with nachos, beans and rice #15 and hubby had the 2 fish tacos with nachos, beans and rice #11 . The cashier was super nice and gave us free mini nachos because it was hubby's birthday today. : Everything tasted great and we really enjoyed our meal.
Food was really good. Only got 3 starts on service cuz they only take cash so it cost me $3 extra just get $20 to buy it. Otherwise good spot. But bring cash!
One of the best FISH TACOS spots in the County! Large pieces of mouth watering fish with great one of a kind flavor! This place also has great friendly service a nice outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this place for Fish Tacos Chicken Sopes!
