Feedback gevenWe keep coming back to this restaurant year after year because the food, service, and atmosphere are outstanding. The fish is the freshest and most perfectly cooked white fish I have ever tasted. We celebrate Father's Day here every year and recently celebrated my father's birthday. The owner goes above and beyond, always taking the time to chat with the customers and make them feel welcome. We eagerly look forward to returning. Thank you for the excellent experience.
We ate Sansomes in July 2021, but the mail left me no more than a year. Sansome is a must for everyone visiting Central NL. I am a born and raised Newfoundlander, but I love to make tourist activities in the province. I loved the whole experience in this restaurant. The seating on the quay felt like a unique cultural experience I loved as if we were surrounded by water. Our waitress was super friendly and seemed really passionate about the kitchen. The table next to us had a large group of people visiting Newfoundland for the first time, so my parents and I had a wonderful time to discuss their journey and reactions to such fresh seafood. Cannot recommend this place more1
We thought here was a late lunch on our trip from Twillingate to Gander and explained the best meal of our trip. Great location on the water. Friendly serving ladies. And of course the lobster! Only cash, but there's an ATM machine. I love this place.
We were on the island after the lobster season, but Doyle Sansome was recommended to us outside Twillingate. It was definitely the trip from the city to enjoy dinner. Would recommend this if you are in the area.

We're celebrating Father's Day every year and we just have the 86. My father's birthday celebrated.... Thanks for going upstairs and beyond. The owner always makes their rounds chat with the customers make you feel welcome and eager back.
