Ocean7 Restaurant, AQUA Bistro & Wine Bar

We ate there twice - first night in the formal dining room which I found sterile. Next night we sat outside and enjoyed it more. The food was good.

Five friends and I went to the Aqua lounge for birthday drinks and appies. Well we TRIED to go! When we got there at 8:00 on a thursday night we weren't allowed in. The patio was hopping full but the indoor part of the restaurant was empty except for people sitting at the bar. I'd say 20 empty seats, minimum.So there we were, 6 of us ladies, all dressed up, balloons and flowers in hand, staring at the 20 empty seats , being told it would be a half hr wait because there weren't enough servers on to be able to serve us. I'm sorry. I love the Kingfisher but that was totally unacceptable. Bad call. I should add that we were offered a seat in the restaurant side but there was a totally sedate dinner vibe going on there that wasn't at all conducive to our celebration plans. Come on Aqua Lounge. step it up. Be part of the world class resort the Kingfisher claims to be.

Stayed this past BC Day Longweekend and had dinner at Ocean7.Amazing experience from start to finish.Our daughter mentioned our special occasion. anniversary; our wonderful server brought out a complimentary dessert to top off our meal....thank you.Main course was so good along with our app's.Nice selection and also a kids menu for those little ones.Great experience and highly recommend.

Stopped in for a cocktail after a pedicure at their spa and YUM! The bartender made us some delicious summer sipper that was so good that we decided to make a dinner reservation for that evening with our group of friends. The new renovation is gorgeous! We got a table overlooking the water to boot. Food was delicious - especially the scallops! And the drinks divine. Our server was so knowledgeable and attentive. It was a 5 star experience all round. I can't wait to go back!

The menu has some very interesting choices with a mostly local flair. Prices are a little high but the food was excellent.
