I never picked up my Phone to take pictures the entire meal. Menu changes depending g on the season. Local fresh ingredients just wowed me with flavors. You can also bring a bottle of your favorite wine for a small corking fee. Great sunsets here dinner starts at 7pm Yummy
By @iwanttobewhatieat As everyone knows, I was less than impressed with my dinner @willowsinn The food was non memorable and for the first time in my dinner outings when the $1000.00 bill for two people came, I felt sad and unfulfilled. I was trying to show my friend pictures and I couldn't even remember what the dishes were, also a first. What saved the entire evening was the service, which was beyond spectacular. This establishment must celebrate the incredible people that work for it, as without them it's just a pretty place with unremarkable tiny food. However, we wound up on Lummi again and decided to try it for Breakfast. This was completely different experience. The Breakfast is a pre fix, 60.00 per person. We sat out on the deck which is such a lovely experience and a wonderful view. The service was again epic and this time, so was the food. As with dinner, the vegetables are all from their garden and beautifully presented. The potatoes were literally mouth watering and we fought over the last one. The thick cut bacon was divine and the buckwheat crapes were deliciously extra. I'm in no way discounting what this establishment offers in culinary experience, I unfortunately did not experience this for dinner. However breakfast was lovely and again the service makes this entire place.
My girlfriend took me here as a surprise for my 30th birthday and I can confidently say this was the best meal I have ever had and it isn 't particularly close. I have never been to a really nice tasting menu restaurant like this and going into it we both wondered if it would be worth the price or live up to the hype. It was worth it and it exceeded the hype. Given the cost this is a treat and every single course as well as the service was amazing. The ambience was very nice as you saw the sunset over the water and then the restaurant had a roaring fire. We tried 14 different items for the dinner tasting menu and the next morning for breakfast we tried 11 different items. You are taken care of from the moment you arrive. The only questions they ask is if you want the wine or juice pairing or if you want a pre dinner cocktail and after that you just sit back and enjoy. We did share a tequila cocktail and that was wonderful. We were also wanting to try both drink pairings so I got the wine and my gf got the juice and that is what I recommend all couples do as both were exquisite and paired perfectly with what we served. The service was amazing. They were knowledgeable, timed everything perfectly and they also provided kindness and humor to the evening. Everything was the ideal temperature when it arrived and by the end of the meal we had eaten the perfect amount of food and I have no idea how they did that but that was how we felt, full but not uncomfortable like I often feel after a big meal. The only meat we were served was seafood which was fine by us but I will say if you are a picky eater, I don 't think you would enjoy a tasting menu as the next dish is always a surprise so you have to have an open mind. The amount of times I said this is the best ____ I 've ever had was very high and if you have the means I strongly encourage you to head to Lummi Island to try this wonderful restaurant.
Two Iowa couples travelled to Seattle for vacation. We expected this to be the highlight of our vacation but we were disappointed. Service and technique were Michelin star worthy. However, I've had better for less expense and definitely less travel. I would also not recommend the hotel. It's dated, smells, not properly cleaned, AC didn't work, and the Internet didn't work! I literally watched them clean the kitchen during dinner service and wished the same effort was put into the hotel. The menu was a bit heavy on the vegetarian and herbs for our tastes. The apps were great and fast, but timing seemed to decrease as the night went on resulting in a 3 hour dinner service.
Lunch was absolutely horrible. Had the Albacore Tartan on grilled sourdough. Very over priced tuna salad. Highly don't recommend this place at all. But being the only place on the island you might get stuck with it. But the view is very nice
