Our waitress was terrible and kept making loud comments, literally while she was cleaning our table, that she was trying to get out of there. Then she watched us like a hawk from a table a few away and kept mentioning to her coworkers that she couldn’t leave until we did. We were there celebrating the birthday of a loved one that passed in a very tragic way. It was obvious we were crying and t going through something. When we left, she stormed past us, literally almost knocking us over. Picas does NOT care able their customers or their community. I’m actually disgusted by the experience.
I just received an order from delivery. I have loved Picas for years it is an Upper Darby and Delco staple. But this was horrible first the got my wife's order wrong instead of sending manicotti they sent a tortellini in a white sauce. I ordered clams casino and it smells like it has been in the walk in fridge all week. What happened to this place. If you want to only pump out pizza and only be known as a pizza restaurant stop advertising as an Italian restaurant because this is absolutely garbage. I will make sure any person who asks don't eat here and if you want good pizza go to leandros. Even though they only make pizza it's fresh and correct and perfect every order. PICAS FELL OFF THIS FOOD IS NASTY.
The food was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was clean and service good
I met with a manager there and she was a great person to talk with my experience with her was wonderful and memorable
My definitive and favorite pizza. I grew up around the corner from Pica 's Pizzeria as it was known way back then. In the 50s, it was just a little pizza shop that did cheesesteaks and hoagies too, with a few tables for dine in. The 60s saw expansion to add a dining room and an expanded menu, but through it all there was that square shaped pizza. Though life had me move away from Upper Darby, first to the northwestern suburbs of Philly, then all the way to Florida, I still fondly remember Pica 's Pizza. As mentioned, the pizza is sort of upside down from what most serve the cheese is on the bottom and the sauce is on the top. Something about that inversion just makes it perfect in my mind. Recently, back in June, on a trip up to the Philly area, I made it a point to stop at Pica 's for a pizza. It was outstanding as usual. My wife loved the scallops. Any time I get back to the Philly area, I will always try to get back to Pica 's. It 's a little taste of home .
