Smithy's Pizza & Takeaway - Urangan

I ordered the Supreme and Meat Lover pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them. The garlic bread was also fantastic. The pizzas had generous amounts of toppings, making them a great choice for families. The delivery was well-executed, with the correct order arriving promptly - a refreshing change from other popular delivery services. I will definitely be ordering from this place more often. Overall, great job, Young's!

I have been buying from Smithies for years, but in recent months the quality has declined. Today's pizza was the worst I have ever tasted. The olives had no flavor, and the salami was bland. Overall, the same pizza tastes different with each order. There was also a lack of toppings on the pizza.

I really wanted to try one of their pizzas, but unfortunately they refused to take my order. I tried for almost half an hour, but couldn't get through. I left the phone ringing multiple times, as they seemed to be busy. I decided to try again in 15 minutes, and finally got through. They asked if they could put me on hold, to which I agreed. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was abruptly disconnected. I tried again in another 15 minutes, and this time the hold was silent. I waited for another 10 minutes before being disconnected once more. Frustrated but determined, I tried again after 15 minutes. This time, before they could ask, I said I would like to order a pizza. The person on the other end said they would have to check with their boss, as it was close to closing time. When they returned, they told me not to place an order if they were busy or short on staff. They advised me to be honest from the start to avoid wasting both our time.

I ordered 3 pasta dishes that were average, but the worst part I was waiting for 50 minutes. I wasn't the only one, there was another couple waiting for the food and they waited at least one hour.

Unfortunately, Smithy's uses a soggy, tasteless pizza base, one that leaks into the pizza box. You can't hold it without losing half the toppings. Even Dominoes does a better, crustier crust, and that has to be the foundation for any decent pizza. The toppings were...ok, and the cheese was plentiful, but let down by the base. If they can fix the crust, they'd get a much better review.
