Tante Sara Pasteleria y Resto - Ushuaia

Probably the worst service I had so far in Ushuaia. We waited about an hour and we're not even our drinks yet. I couldn't imagine how long it would take to get our food. We came to breakfast and we went without food or drinks and it's almost noon now.

We stumbled over this wonderful café while we went out of a storm shower. Sometimes you're lucky! Elegant pastries and drinks served by a very friendly and attentive staff AND at reasonable prices. Look for this when you visit Ushuaia!

We spent a few days in Ushuaia and ate at Tante Sara twice. Good service and very good food. A good selection of the normal Argentinan fare and some good ensalada selections too. It’s fun sitting upstairs and watching the crowds walk by Recommended

I nearly bought rolls from the front fridge but then realised along the counter that there were piles of fresh white sandwiches. So managed to select 3 of them and it cost Argentinian Pesos $140. They were absolutely delicious and moist. I can see why some customers were buying boxes of them. I also succumbed and bought two yummy looking biscuits.

Had nice coffees and cakes for mid morning visit. Free wifi extra bonus. Plenty of cakes to choose from and we had a window seat so were able to watch life pass by.
