Wimpy'sDiner - Uxbridge

Breakfast and lunch are always good here. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful The portions are huge. My kids love it here. We rarely go for dinner but when we did was old fashioned homestyle cooking.

Really like the simplicity of the place and the menu, which is reasonably priced and extensive. Reminds me of all the great things about being a kid and Wimpy diners in the UK.

Been there a few times for breakfast and the food is very fresh. good service no complains there and it is prices right. very friendly people.

I took my family to Wimpy's Diner in Uxbridge yesterday for supper. Our waitress was very friendly with a wonderful sense of humour. We all ordered our non-alcoholic drinks and when they arrived, we ordered our food. I had my usual Club Sandwich. It was thicker than most with fresh turkey breast. My grandson ordered a double addie hamburger that was huge. The two paddies stuck out from the bun about two inches from each end. He's a teenager, a rugby player on his highschool team and has an appetite. My wife had the haddock with fries and my grand- daughter didn't like the Kiddies Menu, so she ordered Pourtine from the regular menu. All portions were generous and fairly priced. My wife and granddaughter had sundaes for dessert and my grandson had a strawberry shake. I continued to sip on my apple juice.I must try out their breakfasts one of these days.I felt badly for the waitress who was literally running. She was the only waitress working. We arrived at 6:00 pm and by 7:00 pm the restaurat was full. There was about 12 booths that would seat 4 each. When we left just before 8:00 pm, people were still coming in.

Whimpys is a good place for a good inexpensive meal. The servers are super efficient and friendly. The menu has a really good selection. I particularly like the turkey open faced sandwich with gravy....real turkey...real comfort food on a cold winters day
