Fee-fo-lay Cafe - Vacherie

Delicious beignets! They're the best I've had. Also, there is a really cute pathway filled with local folklore under the big, beautiful oak out front that really makes it a magical place worthy of seeing. I highly recommend.

This ended up being one of the best random and surprising highlights of our whole trip to New Orleans. The beignets are the best around, and the coffee is unbelievable! A lot of care is also put into the history and folklore of the area the cafe is in,complete with a history walk and beautiful outdoor seating. If I lived in the area, I would go there all the time! Perfect stopif you're planning on visiting the Whitney, Oak Alley, or Laura plantations.

So much history in this beautiful Louisiana cafe. The beignets are a must have. Fruit smoothie was thick and full of fruit flavor. I enjoyed walking around the shop looking at the photos on the wall.

Found a hidden gem in this quaint coffee/sweet shop! Outside seating under majestic oaks with a nice breeze from the river adds to the charm of the place. The frappes are great and these beignets are so light and airy that you forget about calories!! Thepralines melt in your mouth and the tea cookies bring back wonderful memories of days gone by. You will not be disappointed inyour visit!
