Advice...for the chef keep it French and don't go away, into a Japanese kitchen that they don't have a clue.
The worst and most expensive meal we had in vaison came to eat cold, tiny portions, not back.
We came later in the lunch break, so the restaurant was busy. that should really not be an excuse for off-hand service and for all our chevre salds, without getting the soft boiled egg. the two people who had ravioli said it was lovely and the local rosé recommended was also good.
Since i wanted something light i chose L'annexe. I ordered a very good galette de sarazin with cheese, mushrooms and bacon and it was very good. But the fun part was people watching particularly the wait staff who work like dogs but are helpful...and fun.
Fairly large place with lots of personnel. However, instead of taking care of customer young waiters and waitresses greet their friends and make jokes with them. However, food is served quickly. Steak cheval ordered medium was very well done, small and not in any way...compareable to what we had elsewhere. Stray dogs are wandering through the place. Next door the dog was even invited in the kitchen to fetch some leftovers. Avoid the restaurants on this square.
