100 Main Restaurant Bar - Valdese

Chose this restaurant for convenience on a recent trip to Valdese. They had great reviews and now we know why. Everything was phenomenal. Our waitress, Megan, explained the menu, how they use fresh ingredients and items are homemade and offered Brian's (the owner) credentials. His love for the business is evident in the menu, his happy employees and the welcoming atmosphere. Megan was GREAT-very accommodating and knowledgeable about all of their products. Y'all have got to try the potato salad!!!!! Even tho this is almost an hour from home, we will be making frequent trips to enjoy 100 Main. See ya soon Megan!

Our waitress was nice but extremely softspoken and hard to hear given the louder environment. She brought me the wrong drink which was fine but she never came back around for at least 15 minutes for me to ask for the drink I ordered. Once I received my new drink, I drank 1/4 of it before we realized our glasses were all dirty. I waited another 30 minutes before I finally decided to ask an employee who wasn't our waitress for a clean cup; she happened to be walking by... hadn't seen our waitress. Said employee tells us the cups came dirty like that from the factory. There were clearly visible fingerprints in the white gunk. I also ordered a medium well cheeseburger that was served well well done with burnt crunchies on it. Maybe staffing is spread thin and that's why we didn't see our waitress but there were the other issues too so I can't say I'll be back.

Had a wonderful meal. The waitress was a little hard to find at times, but overall a great experience
