ENGLISH SPEAKERS NOT WELCOME. Unfortunately our rudest experience in Spain. We asked to share a menu for lunch. Adorable waitress, food was good value, great taste. Nonetheless, when the owner brought the check he commented dryly “In your country you don't share a menu, in my country either”. We explained it should have been mentioned before, and that this comment was rude and unnecessary. He responded by a mocking laugh ! , adding “you are lucky I speak English”. Important to mention: we, at all time, addressed them in Spanish we live in Spain . We left shaked and shocked. Not recommended if you speak Spanish with an accent.
I work as a travel director and I always trust them and suggest their Paella, authentic and also done for you in te moment. Actually I am from Alicante and we are competing in paellas: and Simalu' s rices are great. Their tapas very elegant and author made. And super good price to have such good quality and also located right near the Goverment palace. I also love their fresh and creative Menu . Do not forget the best tiramisu ever: The team work with all their heartដ
