Feedback gevenThe restaurant Balsa swims in the lake in Valle de Bravo. The extreme dining room is fun, but maybe not for you when you become seasick. The menu is very similar to the Pericos next door. I enjoyed my tortilla soup, and especially the fukini with shrimps. The Arrachera was also great. Fast and attentive service.
Well, it was a bit of a car to get there, but once there, just nice. People are beautiful and great views from the docks, and some of the most amazing houses built on the mountain side. Spectacular view and amazing sunset...with great food. The lake, nestled by forested mountains, is a centre for water sports. The paved streets of the city are lined with well preserved colonial buildings. The Plaza de la Independencia is the church of San Francisco de Asis from the 17th century. Century. The Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve, a habitat for millions of migrating butterflies, is north of the city.
