El Caracol Cafe - Vancouver

Great for a quick bite! The al pastor was very tasty! Pupusa was not my cup of tea, wish it had more filling!

Really wanted to like this place. We did take out and ordered 6 tacos and 2 platters. The flavour was fantastic, but the meat was so dry that it was rock hard. Such a shame :

Lovely little hole in the wall family restaurant where you can find dishes from Honduras and Salvador that you won't find anywhere else in Vancouver. Big portions, reasonable price. Definetely worth checking out.

This is BY FAR the best Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant in Vancouver. TRULY AUTHENTIC, really good prices for the huge amount of food that they give you and the best taste!

I visited this restaurant for takeout and asked for recommendations since I was new to the area. The owner suggested some great options, so I decided on the Prawn Tacos for an appetizer and the Chicken Enchiladas for dinner. I really enjoyed the prawn tacos and will likely try something different the next time I visit. The food was delicious, affordable, and truly authentic Mexican cuisine. It felt like I was enjoying a homemade meal in Mexico at a cozy, unassuming spot. The atmosphere wasn't anything special, but the food was undeniably tasty.
