George's Famous Souvlaki - Vancouver

Having lived in Greece for 3 years, I think I know Greek food pretty well. I grabbed a spanakopita for a snack. The spinach was overdone and bland. Good spanakopita has feta inside as well. I didn't finish it b/c it lacked flavour.

The food court at Lo Drake Quay offers delicious cuisine with a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes. The service is pleasant and the prices are very affordable.

Between ferry and bus, stopped by for a tasty spinach and cheese pastry. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace close by.

If you want heaven in a bite, try their potatoes with tzaziki sauce! It is a flavor explosion that will leave you breathless. This is one of my musts when I visit Vancouver!

George's food is consistently delicious, but his Pitas are truly exceptional! My daughter and I always look forward to visiting his restaurant whenever she comes to North Vancouver.
