The restaurant is on the second floor of the building. Besides it, it’s Micheal’s. I went to this place couple times with friends and family before. We’ve been there all around lunch time because of its lunch special: $25 Lunch Usuyaki All You Can Eat. The All You Can Eat is including:<br/ <br/ ITEMS ONLY SERVE ONE TIME PER PERSON 以下三項每人限食一次<br/ • Edamame 日式毛豆<br/ <br/ • Prawn, Salmon, Squid (one of each) 蝦、三文魚及魷魚各一件<br/ <br/ • Gelato 意大利雪糕<br/ <br/ ITEMS FOR ALL YOU CAN EAT 以下六項任食<br/ <br/ • Seasonal Greens Salad 日式田園沙律<br/ <br/ • Miso Soup 味噌湯 • Filet of Chicken 雞扒<br/ <br/ • Thinly Sliced Ribeye (Usuyaki) 薄燒蒜蔥肉眼卷<br/ <br/ • Fried Assorted Vegetables 炒什菜<br/ <br/ • Steamed Rice 白飯<br/ <br/ The servers cooked all the food in front of you. If you want more food, you can just let them know. They would cook for you. The servers in this restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The food here is clean, fresh, and well cook. It was a very great experience for me. I love it.
First time having teppanyaki. I used my Groupon as always to eat here. Unfortunately, weekend after 6:30 can't use the Groupon so we came here at 5. We were sitting beside the chief. There was 11 courses. All are quite small but once you eat all 11 courses you will be full. We had green salad, lobster miso soup, fried vegetables, beef fried rice, sliced rib eye usuyaki, AAA beef tenderloin, salmon steak, prawn, scallop, lobster and mango ice cream. It was good. Nice service. They just all taste the same because they use same seasoning. It's only worth it if it's not so expensive.
I can see why there's alot of mixed reviews. Some chefs are not very sociable and don't do tricks, and some do. Also alot of people don't know that you can reserve a private room.<br/ <br/ If your Cantonese, ask for chef Johnny. He's a really nice guy and loves to talk about people, food, and life. When you reserve a private room the experience is much better imo. I'm not sure why people don't tip their chefs, but American tepanyakis you usually hand off a 5, 10, or 20 bill. I guess the housing market is squeezing people's wallets.<br/ <br/ Food is decent, not mind blowing though. The meats and foe grais are delicious. They have live fresh seafood. I would recommend this place for date night. Its playful and interactive.<br/ <br/
I cant say the food is good~but not bad! price is expensive~normal food but really expensive! i think because the experience is very good! the chef stand in front you and only cook for you! lol~ feels like a rich
I was not very keen about going to gyu to use our about to expire groupon because of the negative reviews here. the only time they could fit us in was 5:45 which is a tad early for dinner but it gave us time to walk on the beach afterwards.<br/ <br/ the meal...we found the chef to be friendly but quiet, which was just fine by us. the food was fresh and well cooked. he explained the sauces to us and was ready to answer any questions or requests we had. the servers were friendly and efficient with the tea and removal of dishes. <br/ <br/ we had a great meal that was just enough food cooked really well and using very fresh ingredients. i would go back. the non groupon price is a bit steep though. <br/ <br/ fresh tasty food; friendly service; clean facilities
