Jimmy's Tap House - Vancouver

Good spot with nice deals for happy hour. Cheap beer and half price appies. Great place to go before the concert.

We eat here several times while staying the Westin Grand hotel ) in the same building. Mondays special were $4 house wines (we loved the Pinot Grigio from Wine O'Clock) and 1/2 off your second entree. The Caprese Chicken sandwich (open face) was fantastic with balsamic and goat cheese. The french fries here are some of the best we have eaten. From the moment we sat down, every time a server walked by (even if it was not our server) asked if we needed anything. On Wednesday the special was $4 for a lb of chicken wings and they were some of the best ever. Definitely a place to try if you are in the neighborhood.

We came across Jimmys by accident while looking for a place to have lunch. Nice position by the library, outside dining for people watching and good food. If your in Vancouver it's a nice place to while away an hour or so.

Food is consistently good. My friend and I have lunch here every week. We always get the beef dip and have the Artisan salad instead of fries. Horseradish sauce and au jus are fantastic.

Lovely staff who work the tables and ensure you are well looked after. If you arrive and find no outside table available, take a bar seat and have a drink to wait until one becomes free. The locals know this place and use it so you need to be quick. We had two lunches and two evening meals and found all very nice.
