Pho Hoa Jazen Tea - Vancouver

One of my favorite restaurants! The staff is friendly and attentive, and my meals come out quickly. I can't praise the popcorn chicken enough—it's fantastic!

I was really disappointed with the quality of this restaurant. Initially, when they revamped their ingredients and types of meat, it was refreshing and delicious. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for them to revert to their old standards. I ordered a large pho, but they had reduced the portion size, and the meat was thick and chewy, more so than usual. To make matters worse, they served me dirty spoons.

Old Vancouverites have a long history with Pho Hoa, dating back to the 1990s. It has experienced its ups and downs over the years, but recently, they've made a comeback. Although the revamped menu with drinks was still just mediocre, today's food was impressive. The pho was delicious, and there were some affordable combo options available as well. What truly stood out was the new server, Van, who completely transformed the atmosphere. I was amazed at how much one person could uplift the entire dining experience, especially considering the years of poor service in the past. She was attentive and efficient. I hope these improvements continue!

They have a buy one get one 1/2 price deal. Two can eat for less than $20. I would rate the pho 7 out of 10. It's my go to place for a quick, cheap takeout meal.

I have never given any business bad rating other than this one. Our family took dinner here, meat was not fresh, noodles taste like frozen and reheat. All of us vomitted and spent 4 hours in Burnaby hospital at midnight after dinner. Likely food poison.We were scared of eating pho for years after this incident. Strange they are still open.
