If you want to pay a fair price for authentic Kerala food, you need to come to Amantha's. Super Thali in all its versions (Veg, Fish and Chicken), this woman definitely knows how to cook with love and taste. Masala chicken is also amazing... and the vibes of the place cannot be better. We order masala dosa, potato stuffed not cooked well. A Average food quite costly for this ambience

Was searching for food near to my stay and found some good reviews in net, so I went for lunch. And the experience was really pathetic, I had worst food I ever eat in my life. I ordered for fried rice (which cost 200rs) and after waiting for 30mins what I got was nothing but a bowl tomato rice mixed with some chicken (with bone) with lots of oil. While I enquired, the owner told that this is the fried what its cafe serves. As I don't wanted any argument, so I tried to eat that tomato rice mixed with chicken curry bt the taste was so pathetic that I couldn't eat. At the same time a traveller from Russia complained about the fish (it smells bad) The owner just making the foreign tourists people fool as they are not aware of the proper Indian food or kerala food . Any road side thella cooks 1000 times better food than this cafe. And the behaviour of the isn't customer friendly at all.

Great place! eating is so good, local and very cheap masala dosa, thali, biryani! they go in and feel immediately the loves that place! the eating is cooked with much love and smiling faces of the indebted! when they go in them, they find again and again because this is a home and a family!
