Last year we went and this year it seems to us that the food and service has even improved. We booked to eat early and avoid crowds, the service was very pleasant, thumbs up for the waiters who had excellent treatment, the food was served quickly and was very good, a clean place with good views and normal prices. The only thing I didn 't like was that the man who was making the skewers in the boat was walking around with the dishes and all over the beach bar with the mask lowered to his chin, he hasn 't put it on in an hour that we 've been there . Pasamos el día en el Chiringuito Nuevo Mediterráneo. Primero en las camas balinesas tomando el sol y bañándonos en el mar. Ángel, el encargado de las hamacas es un crack, se desvive por que estes atendido con tu hamaca, las bebidas, es todo simpatía y predisposición. Después comimos en el restaurante, en el interior ya que está más fresquito. Pero también hay mesas en sombra en la arena. El espeto, sea sardina, calamar o pargo, estaba delicioso. El maestro espetero es otro fenómeno y encima es turco, pero lleva muchos años en el oficio. El otro crack es Pepe, el camarero. Nos atendió divinamente. Comimos y bebimos muy bien y a buen precio en un sitio agradable y familiar con vistas a la playa y disfrutando de la brisa del mar. Un chiringuito agradable, familiar, en el que puedes hablar, sin jaleo estridente. Lo único que falto fueron postres caseros, sacaron una carta de helados industriales y eso hoy en día desmerece el lugar. No obstante, repetiría y lo recomiendo.

Just returned from lunch. From the very beginning the staff did not seem to care if we were there or not. Had to call them all the time. Horrid service. Food was OK. Never again. It is end of season so they just don’t care. Acabo de regresar de almorzar. Desde el principio, al personal no pareció importarle si estábamos allí o no. Tuve que llamarlos todo el tiempo. Horrible servicio. La comida estaba bien. Nunca más. Es fin de temporada, así que no les importa.

I don't know what the food is like yet but the waitress and beach staff are rude at best...this will make you laugh...though chips/French frys/patata fritas come with many of the meals (though not specified witch ones the waitress told me it was impossible to oder them by themselves...sardines and gambas pil pil are 2 of the best items on the planet to have with chips...they did bring some in the end but continued to say they were not on the menu...the pil pil was expensive and cold...the sardines were lovely...we are waiting ages for everything so it's easy and kind of fun to write this together...now the coffee machine is broken...SAY NO MORE
