Tj Carney's Grill - Venice

Not good. saw 10 minutes in the empty bar and was completely ignored by the staff. I thought maybe they'd clean up. but a more regular came after me a few minutes later and was served immediately. obviously a towny community that doesn't recognize who pays their bills half year.

I took some friends from Orlando, yesterday to the place. I like to go there is a nice enviroment and people can sit outside. We order soups and more things, also the wine was not what we asked, after ordering Merlot, they broght us something like wine with water. : Eating one of our soup, we found a plastic lid on it! It was gross.Called the server Joshep, he took the soup back and nothing happened, no apology or manager to showed and still got charged! Kidding? this is how they run the business? I will think before going back or recomending the place. regardless of the location. Note: we had to clear our table and put everything to another table, noone even pay attention, no cleaning, no desinfecting, but I insisted to my friends it was a good place. It was very disapointing for all of them

We went to see Ken McBride perform as we had missed him for a long time because of the Pandemic. He gave a great performance and it was wonderful to see him again. The management could use some improvement (like honoring reservations) and the service was extremely slow but in the end the food was excellent and Ken gave a great performance. All in all a wonderful evening.

Decided on a whim to go on the busiest day of the year and had Irish luck ? with parking and table. Shout out to staff especially our waiter Nick who worked during this craziness ! Stopped back against n later this n the week and had another great meal- much quieter night!

Service HORRIBLE! This is the second time myself and two LOCAL ladies came to TJ Carneys for dinner and left! The attitudes of the servers are beyond rude. We live here in Venice. We are NOT tourist yet the service and attitude in several sidewalk restaurants, not just TJ Carneys, is unimaginably horrid. The servers need to appreciate the locals and take attitude lessons! We will never come here again nor bring friends here.
