Teriyaki Express - Vernon

Terrible experience! My husband ordered rice, beef with teriyaki sauce, and broccoli, and ended up with food poisoning. We are a family of four, and he was the only one who ate at the restaurant, and he was the only one who experienced fever and vomiting.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. My 11-year-old daughter, who is always well-mannered, ordered two spring rolls, and the cashier was incredibly rude to her. It was truly shocking! To make matters worse, the food was below expectations; it didn't taste like authentic Japanese teriyaki at all.

The staff were quite rude and unhelpful, and unfortunately, I didn't feel well later that day.

Teriyaki Express is the 111th restaurant I've tried in my mission to sample every dining option in Vernon. I ordered the veggie yakisoba, which totaled $13.92 after tax. The dish was delicious, and the gentleman who took my order was very friendly. Unfortunately, the woman who served my meal was quite rude, which was disappointing. Her unpleasant demeanor has made me hesitant to return for another visit. So far, I’ve explored 111 restaurants, with around 50 more to go. For vegetarian options, they offer veggie yakisoba and spring rolls.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this food court! I ordered chicken yakisoba and shrimp tempura, and both dishes were reasonably priced and extremely satisfying. However, the cashier could have been a bit more welcoming and friendly, which would have made the overall experience a perfect five stars. Overall, the food was fresh, delicious, and comforting, offering a healthier option. I would definitely eat there again!
