La Capannina - VERONA

My wife and I were on vacation in Italy, driving from Stresa to Trieste. We planned on lunch in Verona. The place we originally planned to eat was closed so we just drove around to find a ristorante that looked interesting . We stopped here. We were NOT disappointed. The food was lovely, the service was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended. My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch here!

We visited here for lunch in early August. Such a big menu it was hard to choose, everything looked great. We shared a seafood risotto and had a tiramisu for desert. The risotto was delicious with a large amount of seafood, I did feel it had a lot of pepper in the dish so by the end I was coughing quite a bit! You could tell it was fresh and the chef came out and asked us how it was after which was lovely. The experience was soured at the end as our bill was higher than expected, what we were charged for the risotto was 4 euro higher than on the menu, (inclusive of it being a meal for 2 sharing) also I pointed to a beer on the menu costing 6 euro for a large but was charged 8 euro for it. We didnt complain as we didn't know enough Italian, we feel thats why the extra amount was put on. Its a shame as we would have given a tip anyway but instead we felt slightly cheated.

I liked this place! Food is good, not cheap i have to say, but you won't go away hungry. Friendly staff as well!

Un bel ristorante su Via San Giacomo, poco prima del semaforo x il Policlinico. Entrando si vede una bella terrazza circondata dal verde, ottima soluzione per l'estate. Il ristorante sulla strada si presenta con ampie vetrate che all'interno hanno dei bei drappeggi con colori in tono con l'ambiente. Abbiamo pranzato con il menù degustazione, buono il primo di pasta con il pesce e il secondo di pesce fritto, buona pure la torta al limone. Bravo lo chef e bravo il personale di sala. Da ritornare.

Una pizza in famiglia dopo una visita a Verona. Ottimo locale per qualità e prezzo. Buono il servizio. Spazio all'aperto per sfortuna troppo fronte strada. Pizza napoletana con bordo alto e impasto leggero. Indicato per sfuggire ai prezzi folli del centro
