McDonald's - Victoria

1. VERDICT/VALUE It's hit or miss, like many businesses. At times it's like the employees are on autopilot and missed what we ask for; at other times, our orders are as expected. So taking everything with a grain of salt (i.e. post pandemic challenges with staffing, increased food prices and overall increased stress), the place it OK it just misses out in a few ways: training and environment. 2. FOOD It's McDonald's in Canada so the menu is a little limited (compared to that of other countries) but as of October 2023, they've brought back grilled chicken sandwiches. 3. SERVICE As mentioned, it's good and bad depending on the attendant. Averaged out it's alright. An increase in customer service training and monitoring of such would really help both inside and in the drive thru lane. 4. ENVIRONMENT Not it's fault it just happens to be close to all of the homeless encampments on Pandora which naturally leads to less than ideal circumstances on property and inside. Why is there is confusing signage upon driving into the parking lot is that the drive thru exit or not? Which way does one get to the drive thru? Why do the two signs across from each other point in contradictory directions? If you're arriving with a wheelchair or baby stroller, you'll be OK for the most part; parking is not typically a problem either as it seems like many patrons are opting to use the drive thru.

I know everyone is mad with the situation outside of this Mcdonalds. But once you open the door and go inside, its different.The staff were young boys and a great manager. All judiciously serving the customers. Food came out fast, quality was awesome. Had their new spicy chicken burgers.Except for the surroundings, its a great place to do a grab and go. Convenient cause it has a huge parking. The one at Downtown doesn't have parking. The parking spots facing Pandora are good, cause you can see them from inside the restaurant and keep an eye on your car if concerned.

It's McDonald's. Not good. Not bad. Just your late night fill, or something.

Hot chocolate is never mixed properly. Food is dry.
