We went 2 times to casa caribena. for the first time we had the pleasure to listen to live latin music and eat a delicious meal: house brot with butter and garlic, huh with mango and grilled calamari with ananas. unbelievable! and the staff very friendly. the second time we went to the summer place, on the summer stage. there were fewer meal times available, but they were good again (that was very good, but the garnel dry.)
Fresh and tasty eating, very well presented at a fair price. well-trained and friendly waiter. good atmosphere! good Chilean weine
We recently met friends for dinner in summer and decided to try casa caribena. in view of the location, their menu is limited, which is ok, but eating was really not very good. we waited a very long time for the food to be brought to our table, and when it finally arrived, it looked like it had just been stabbed on the dish. the food floated in oil and quite bland, very disappointing for Caribbean food. even the prices were very high considering what was served us. it wasn't good at all. on a positive note our waitress was nice and friendly. Perhaps this place is better suited only for drinks. the position along the canal is beautiful when they find a table that is not surrounded by smokers. smoking is still very popular in the areas where food is served.
