Ramenesque Thornwood

Really enjoyed our food. We had a beer at the bar and a few laughs with the bartender/owner. Clean and nicely decorated inside. Go and try their ramen, delish. Can't wait to go back, there are so many things on the menu I would like to try.

Great ramen spot, it's tough to find these in Westchester. This one is a solid staple for getting classic Japanese dishes.

This Japanese restaurant is very charming and spotless. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious and authentic. I’ve attached a photo of the ramen I ordered, which was excellent. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the broth was full of flavor.

Rating based solely on the Ramen. I think I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with extra noodles and pork chashu. The broth was just average and could use some improvement in flavor, seasoning, and creaminess. The noodles had a good taste and a nice chewy texture, effectively holding the soup. I ordered extra noodles without realizing how large the portion would be, and I almost couldn’t finish it! The pork chashu was fantastic—definitely one of the best I've had, and it wasn't overly fatty. It had a rich, strong flavor that would have earned a 5-star rating. However, the egg was overcooked for ramen. Overall, I would definitely come back for more. It’s easily accessible from the main road, and the atmosphere and setup are great!

This restaurant has an incredible décor, featuring a koi pond that creates a romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date, a special someone, or even a family gathering. As for the food, my wife and I shared the vegetarian gyoza and avocado rolls as appetizers, and they were both beautifully presented and delicious. For her main course, she ordered the shoyu ramen, which she absolutely loved for its smoky flavor. I opted for the Tom Yum ramen, which had a fiery, tangy Thai flavor—honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. While this place offers a wide selection of Japanese cuisine, we were both in the mood for ramen. On our next visit, we plan to try the sushi and sashimi. I highly recommend this restaurant!
