My party and I (3 overall) enjoyed our experience at this site as a whole. My mother has problems with eating hard food and asked the waiter to have the kitchen overcooked the vegetables, easily on the muddy side. They did not seem to be able to do this because the three times they brought it back to the table, it was still hard, and as she put it, it seems as if they were just reheating it. It was quite disappointed for this result. The steaks were a bit on the thin side, but the size, texture, feeling and aroma was overall very pleasant and on the top of all steak houses I had been 've. Our waiter, Theo, was friendly and helpful, but never seemed happy or smile. Whenever we needed something (even if he wasn't) someone was there to help us.
Very disappointed by the roadhouse; hopefully this was a one-time thing. Last time I was in Texas Roadhouse about 5 years ago. I remember big portions and really good food. First, the peanut barrels made TR unique. It was like her own thing that was nowhere else. A note to the top management in the low chance you see it: COVID will not spread through sunken peanut shells. Take this back to TR. The bread with cinnamon butter was as always good. The Bloomin Cactus was also really good as ever! The ducks, not only small, but were nothing spectacular, maybe even under the average. As you can see on the picture, the pulled pig dinner came with a miserable amount of frits. The pulled pig was slightly sown, was not particularly tender and had almost no taste. I'm not a chef, but I can better pull pork than that in my instant pot. fried chicken was fine; again very average nothing big about them. Baked potato was good, but you can't really screw it up. I don't know where the quality went with TR. The prices are very fair, I will say that and the servers were very friendly. Whether I'd come back or not.
We went in and they took our number and our party from 8 when the table was ready. The staff was friendly and we had to wait for the waitress to bring us butter so that the bread was cold. However, all bread refills came out hot. Our waitress was good. But... it took a long time to get food out. An order was brought out and then about 10 minutes later the other 7 orders came out and unfortunately the food had become cold. They were really busy and I guess they didn't have anyone to take it out and it was in the window for a while. I ordered the road kill to go, and the menu says it's crushed in gravity and onions. They sent out a dry patty and asked me to blow. The menu actually says it comes with blows, so in not sure how it was grounded. Although we were somewhat disappointed with the food, we had a great time as a family.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was really good. Loved the garlic taste on the shrimp. Our waitress was really good and friendly.
I love Texas Roadhouse! The food is always great but I have quite the problem with this outting here. My wife had situated and arranged her left overs on a plate for when her box came to put it in but the server dropped the check off with me then proceeded to quickly grab her leftover plate and took it away to be thrown away. He was moving so quickly that I couldn't get his attention and when she returned from the restroom she was devastated to learn that half of her steak, half her cactus blossom, and most of her seasoned rice had been taken away to be thrown in the trash.
