TGI FRIDAYS - Virginia Beach

The restaurant was closed. we showed up for our reservation and everything was closed with a sign on the door.

We almost sat right away. we ordered to sit within 10 minutes. water and a drink were delivered and we were told that sweeter tee was brewed. we did not see our server again well 30 minutes when they brought the two alcoholic drinks we ordered. then nothing. a bowl suppe was delivered for our table of eight after they were almost an hour. I approached our server to ask if everything is in order. she then came to our table and asked if the manager had spoken to us when they would run out of a suppe we had ordered. we had no complicated order. dinner salad, suppen and burger. no reason for so slow service. it wasn't even busy. many tables are empty.

We enjoyed our experience. the server was very pleasant and had a nice setting

Why take reservations. because my man and I showed up at 9. the hostess told me he had no reservation for me. I had not been, Friday in time..now I see why..the waitress was excellent she made our visit tolerable. I bought gift cards from sams club Friday morning worth 45 dollars. I left the waitress with the balance because I told her I wanted to be back.

Food was good but service was very slow. Had to wait a very long time for every little thing that was asked for.
