Hexenstrausse - Vogtsburg

We met with old friends to enjoy another very good "Leberle and Brägele" in the witch bouquet. The event was noticeable by the fact that the ostriches may not remain open for much longer, because problems in attracting suitable employees have a problem...the other ostriches also.

This was our first return visit to the witch bouquet this year and we were not disappointed. Two of us enjoyed another very good "Leberle and Brägele" while our two women each had a flame cake they both enjoyed.

It was nearly a year since we were last in the Hexenstrauße and we enjoyed another very good dinner there with friends, with Tapis followed by 'Leberle und Brägele ' for the men and Flammenkuchen for the ladies. The service was very good as usual. Hopefully,...we will we will enjoy another meal before the Strauße closes for the summer.

The Hexenstrauße is our favourite Strauße in the Kaiserstuhl. We have been there often during the past 15 to 20 years and know the owners and the staff very well. Consequently, the service was excellent. The very good local German food is similar to that...in other Straußes but, coupled with the excellent service, our overall rating is excellent.
