There is a large menu with everything from quiche to salads to sandwiches to soups. There is a wide selection of hot teas to choose as well.
The servers always smile about everything. You don't usually have to ask for something twice. You're in time and the food is really good. The tea room is a great place for any age and taste buds.
Store bought cookies and Rock Hard Scones for a very disappointing tea experience.
My daughter and I have been together for more than 10 years as a Christmas tradition and with her now from the state in college the tradition is even more important for her and me. Thanks once again to the wonderful employees and owners for another life
While the high tea was enjoyable and tasty, the other lunch items ordered were not. My daughter and 9 year old niece really had fun trying on the hats, scarves and gloves. We got lots of terrific photos. They ordered the high tea which consisted of soup, tea sandwiches, petite desserts and tea. The scones with Devonshire cream were delicious. We appreciated the different tea cup patterns and the English Tea Room's feminine atmosphere. However I would not go there for lunch. What they advertise as quiche is not that at all. There was no crust. The western quiche was over baked eggs in a casserole dish with peppers, sausage and bit of cheese. It was dried up and awful. And while the chunky Waldorf chicken salad tasted good, it was not worth the money spent. So if you're looking for a place to go for tea and desserts or high tea, I would recommend the Olde English Tea Room.
