The Castle - Wakefield

I really enjoy this restaurant because they have a separate vegan menu. The food is consistently good and the service is standard. My only complaint is that they should consider adding vegan chips to their menu. It's frustrating when a restaurant doesn't offer any form of potatoes as a side dish. Additionally, the prices are on the higher side.

Eating was really nice, has a seperate vegan menu with about 5 nets on which was beautiful. Starters and deserts also, all freshly cooked. No complaints at all

I came here after hearing Rave reviews about the vegan menu. In reality there are two possibilities (so a star for each choice a salad or a burger. I ordered the “Nourish Bowl” that promised the menu were lenses, quinoa, chickpeas, avocado, cauliflower, carrot, mooli and water cress. In reality, I was served cauliflower, carrot, mooli and water cresss. The waitress had to ask where the rest was, who finally came back with a handful of lenses. Pretty disappointing to get half a meal (and no avocado! Large part of boiled cauliflower.

Went here after seeing good reviews and just travelling back from nostell priory to Huddersfield highly recommend
