1987 Beedle House - Walnut

Cosy Taiwanese place located in Walnut (in the Vons complex). I love to support small businesses, and it is mainly led by the owner. This is a cash only place, but very reasonable prices. For four of us we have 2 pork beans, sesame noodles, cold seaweed salad, 1987 beedle soup (the taiwanese bovine noodle soup) and Napa pork dumplings. We probably didn't need to get the sesame dumplings, but they offer to go boxes. There is also a deal where you could get 55 dumplings for $20 if it is different to go in the restaurant it is 14 pieces for $7 8. The cold seaweed salad was refreshing, but I didn't know it was shrunk chicken as the meat... not sure if it was trip or not, but I liked it too. The dumplings are my favorite they juicy and plump and rides into perfect shortness. The Taiwanese beef soup is decent I like the texture of noodles, but note that there are no vegetables in it. The beef this time was tender and the egg was well cooked. The sesame noodles were cold and soft as they should be. You have to mix in the sauce when it comes to your table. There is water that you yourself service and it is icey cold. There are plenty of seats and there is a TV that plays Chinese shows on it. The owner is really friendly and he brings the food as it is made. Overall love comes here for taiwanese cuisine.

No more 1987, now it's a Noodle restaurant. And it's the best noodle soup I've ever had. No one can compete with this. The prices are also pretty good.

Great food! I drove from Colorado for vacation and needed authentic Asian cuisine... Beedle House didn't disappoint. Great customer service!

Fantastic noodles. Asin name. Great service. Perfectly encapsulated Chinese atmosphere. Pretty cheap with good supplements. (Dry the egg and the tomatoes! Cash Only under $25, but there are two banks nearby and grocery store, the money back!

I was their first customer on opening day . The cafe is small but very nice with a limited menu . I ordered the beef noodle stew and the pork belly sandwich they described as a Chinese hamburger . They were both very good , will return.
