Thai Cafe - Warren Park

After arriving on time to pick up my dinner. Was asked if I minded waiting another 10 minutes as he “always” added 10 minutes for the pick up. Then after waiting 15 minutes was told they had run out of the main ingredient of my dish so they could substitute another ingredient. I asked after waiting 40minutes for an order I was originally told would take 25 minutes if they were discounting the dish they became very nasty on how dare I ask for a discount. They had accepted my oEder, asked me to wait 50% longer and then were flippant they didn’t have what I ordered and I should accept whatever they wanted to substitute. I had tipped 10% for basically no reason but guilt as they had done nothing for me. When I asked for a full refund they acted like I was wrong. They had 2 chances to say we are low on this ingredient once when I order and another when I paid and waited extra time. I did not ask for the entire meal to be comped only the one dish they couldn’t filled. So I asked for a full refund and they lost . Their entire attitude was not acceptable. Then the WM behind me told me to get out of his way as he wanted to pick up his food while it was still hot. Fun night trying to support a local restaurant.

Sign said closes at 9pm walked in at 7:50 and was told we could not dine in because they were closing at 8:30 instead. Not even cool 40 minutes before they close and won’t accept a table.

So apparently some pretentious white boy decided to buy this company from authentic Asians and turn it into his watered down, Americanized version of Thai food. The noodles are NO LONGER hand made but store bought, the sauce is watered down, little to NO veggies in the vegetable pad Thai (which I always loved when they had authentic people cooking authentic food), and of course, little to NO seasoning at all- the staple of white people cooking!!!!!
