Call me Jon Snow cuz I know nothing but food flavor profile was not worth the price. We felt only one or two of the courses had unique flavors and the recommended wine was not recommendable. The service was truly great.

As a chef... They played rap music the entire time the food was ok but not great for over 400.00 it's not worth it see pictures attached

Was a bit disappointed by the overall experience here since me and my partner ended up “regurgitating” outside because of my duck entree, especially since our bill was $850 (included a $90 caviar add on for a course). Overall, would not recommend at current price points. The pasta dishes and antipasti courses were quite tasty and innovative. Unfortunately, the “Cons” outweighed the “Pros” here. Couple of the cons: • Based on the other cons, the $850 bill was very high. I don’t think the price aligns with the experience. The menu pushes so many add ons and has ridiculously priced items (e.g., a $70 French 75 cocktail) that it feels like a restaurant who was purchased by a VC PE firm. • My salad antipasti had so much vinegar it hurt my mouth • Dove sole course was served as a roulade and ended up being dry and very firm, rather than light and flaky. We regretted doing the caviar add on for this course • Was ill after eating my duck, although I appreciated them adapting the course for non-beef eaters. My partner also got sick a bit after we left — he tried a piece. Couple of pros • Service was generally very good. They had great pacing and werent overbearing. The restaurant Operations are a well oiled machine. • Pasta courses • I really liked their plating and the dishware was nice

Weird combination of Italian food with high Rap music

Masseria really raised the bar for me on Italian food. The food and wine pairing was A from start to finish. Service was attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself is beautiful with an industrial vibe warm wood accents. They played Jay Z’s entire Black Album during our dinner, which we enjoyed. IMO, one of the best tasting menus in the DMV I look forward to the next time I’m back!
